Staying in a B&B in the hills of Levanto, a few minutes from the Cinque Terre, is an experience that embraces all the senses. The view of the sea, the tranquillity of nature, the privacy provided by the mountains. La Vignana is located in this enchanted environment and offers many activities that will make your stay unforgettable. Let us then discover some of the most interesting attractions.

La Vignana, your haven at the entrance to the Cinque Terre

As soon as you arrive, you will be greeted by a structure immersed in the greenery of Levanto, ideal for those seeking tranquillity and relaxation. Our whirlpool bath in the garden allows you to relax and turn your gaze to the horizon. There, where the “vineyards illuminated by the beneficial eye of the sun” cited by Petrarch stand, the view is lost in the thick vegetation, a treasure trove of nature trails that attract enthusiasts from Italy and beyond. After relaxing in the greenery, you can treat yourself to a few moments of leisure with games of table tennis, table football and billiards, or take time for further relaxation in the solarium.

Upon entering the rooms, which are named after the villages of the 5 Terre, you will be amazed by the delightful terraces with views of the surrounding olive groves. After a restorative rest, the following morning you will be greeted by a rich breakfast with homemade products, ready to start your journey.

Activities to do in the Cinque Terre

The B&B La Vignana, in the heart of the Cinque Terre, provides the opportunity to fully experience all the activities offered by this splendid area. From morning to evening, the experiences on offer are many and suited to all tastes.

A walk through history and nature

After leaving our B&B, you can immerse yourself in the green of the hiking trails. In that magical landscape that also fascinated Dante, so much so that he makes mention of it in his Purgatorio, those who love exploring nature will be able to take advantage of the many paths that branch off to the sea.

More than 80 km of paths start from the Levanto valley, recalling an ancient era when people travelled along narrow country roads to visit villages that were distinguished by their small churches. That’s right, those ‘churches of Liguria, arranged like ships ready to be launched’ of which Cardarelli spoke are set in little paradises that get closer and closer to the coast.

Cycling through the 5 Lands (5 Terre)

Cycling enthusiasts, on the other hand, can take advantage of the many e-bike tours that mix exploration of the area, appreciation of the cultural heritage and gastronomy. Activities are suitable for novices and experts, from 0 to 80 years of age, with daily guided tours on trails that also wind along the sea.

Levanto offers many different cycling activities: from simple bike rides to mountain bike trails, not forgetting racing bike trails. The Giro d’Italia, on the other hand, has in recent years paid homage to our territory with stages that enhance its natural routes.

The thrill of surfing in Levanto

Levanto, however, is above all the home of surfing in the 5 Terre. When conditions allow, in fact, the sea offers waves up to four metres high, ideal for enthusiasts who flock from all over Italy and Europe to ride them. You can also improve your skills by enrolling in the renowned local surf schools where you can also rent your surfboard to challenge the waves.

On a boat, at sunset, sipping an cocktail

Chi preferisce attività più rilassanti può sfruttare le gite in barca al Golfo dei Poeti. È una tappa quasi obbligata, che permette di assaporare al meglio la vera essenza degli splendidi borghi che costellano questo lembo di terra ligure.

Those who prefer more relaxing activities can take advantage of boat trips to the Golfo dei Poeti (Gulf of Poets). It is an almost obligatory stop, which allows one to savour the true essence of the splendid villages that dot this strip of Ligurian land.
